Feedback?

Hello, Corey here.  Just wondering if I could possibly get a few comments from anyone who follows.  I do keep track of the hits to this site and know that there have been more then 5000 - so some people are tracking us and I just wanted to see if there are any questions for the guys before they leave?  For me?  Is there anything we failed to report that you would like covered?
Is this kind of blog something that the team (players) should consider doing during the season?
Thanks.

  1. I`ve really enjoyed reading about what the players have been doing and how the training has gone.
Alot of people may feel like its just a "holiday" for the lads but if they have read this they will know its been far from it!!
It would be a good idea to carry it on when the season starts..if the players feel comfortable doing this sort of Blog.
Looking forward to see everyone very soon.

  2. The blog thing has been great, something to keep hockey alive through a wet summer. I think a blogg through the season from players would be good, as long as it's kept up. Lots of these type of things start with good intentions then fizzle out. A blogg after each game or weekend plus a humourous one midweek would be fun. Ps have someone help Jade with his punctuation and capital letters would be an idea. Chris Hayman

  3. Also, i think it would be great if the players could do something like this through the season, would give the fans an idea of what things are like off-ice after games and whats on players minds about upcoming games.

  4. Hi Corey, the blog has been great through the summer, was good to find out what next seasons players are up to and how pre-season training is going. One question i would ask is how Jade feels he wants to prove his doubters wrong. He's been just about the No 1 topic on the fans forum over the summer lol! Nobody doubts he is very skilled and good on the puck but people were saying they would like to see a fitter Jade for the new season. Thanks, Stuart Tacey

  5. I've loved the blog, and agree that it would be a good idea to continue with something similar on the Panthers' website throughout the season. Reading how you each feel about wins and (mostly) losses has been insightful. You're clearly all training hard. We can all see that the guys who are there are beginning to gel already, and that can only benefit them in the upcoming season.
See you in Hull! (17 sleeps to go!)
    Annette.

p.s. Your first comma should've been a semi-colon, and you missed a comma after 'weekend', Chris, but capital letters are all ok. (The teacher in me couldn't resist!)

  6. I think everyone has enjoyed reading the blog. On the fans forum lots of people have referred to it. I've really enjoyed reading everything and seeing how everyone has been making what sounds like great progress. A blog like this for the season would be great. It would be really interesting to hear what the team thinks throughout the season.
    Thanks for organising this blog!

  7. I think this is a great idea.
And the players should definatly do it during the hockey season. I have definatly enjoyed reading how the lads are going on and what they have been upto in the 7 weeks. If i would ask the boys one thing it would be what is the main thing they have learnt over the weeks and the same to you Corey.
See you on the 2nd of September!!!!!
    Chris.

  8. I have really enjoyed the blog, and the camp seems to be of great benefit to all the lads & Jade, who I am so pleased to see turn up and prove his critics wrong. I personally would like to know who, of the lads has impressed the most Corey.

  11. hello corey,
Great job this summer with the lads hopefully they are all ready for the upcoming season. As for jade i am happy he has shown us that he really wants to show us he is ready for the season not like the last one. Although he did come within 1 point of the scoring lead i feel he has alot more to offer.
    cheers lads

  12. I think the blog was a nice extension of the season, a good way for fans to stay connected to the Panthers. It may suffer in future years, however, if we just get the "Corey is killing us" exerciseoramas. But I think the young players did their best as the blog aged to keep things interesting.

As for the upcoming season, I think a blog would be a good idea. It gives fans insight into their players' personalities. You might see what other professional teams do in this regard. Of course the interviews on your mother site are the best way of connecting, but print can be more revealing and with the number of players that you have you'll have to work out some kind of system so that all can be heard from.

The most important feature of any blog is regular content updates, and I think you figured that out.

  13. I think the Blog's been a really good read. Keeping us bored Hockey fans amused during the close season is a hard job, but this definately helped!

As for keeping it up for the season? Definately something like this would be cool.

Get Bruce on Twitter to post during games :D
(Can imagine seeing something along the lines of: Corey not happy after 1st, just kicked a bottle into Levers' face ;) lol)

Good work Corey, sounds like everyone's worked hard but had fun while at it!

  15. It's been great, I'd love to see an informal blog kept with as little P.C hockey cliché after game interview stuff as possible.

  16. I've found the blog very informative & entertaining, thanks to all the guys who have given up their time to contribute. I really looked forward to logging on every couple of days to find out about the progress of the younger guys in particular. I hope they've added a bit of muscle in the off season, they have big roles to play this year.

  17. Hi Corey many thanks for the summer blog, I started as a Panthers fan in 1952 and its the first time I have been able to get an insite into the club. Could you please tell us what happens to young players that leave the club, like the players that have gone to Manchester for the new season,do they still stay a Panther or have they gone for good.Keep up the good work we know there can only be one winner at the end of the season, I think you are our best chance the Panthers have got to be number 1. with all the work you put the lads through. Some games we are not a first period team, can you work on that please? I like the look of the new team members.
